BDSM Humiliation Guide for Beginners

Both men and women enjoy humiliation and it is often used as a mild form of BDSM play. The dominant is usually the one who is in charge of giving out BDSM humiliation and decides which acts to do. Humiliation is often used as a punishment but may also be used as a type of foreplay to excite the submissive. The act of humiliation is more about the emotional and mental effects instead of the physical effects. Physical acts can be done during humiliation but it’s done to make the person feel a certain way. There are two types of humiliation: verbal and physical. There is no set rule on how they can be done and it’s up to the person’s own desires. Some enjoy only verbal humiliation, some enjoy physical humiliation and some enjoy both. To increase the feeling of embarrassment or shame the dominant may sexually arouse the submissive during humiliation. To increase the feelings experienced during humiliation, the dominant may choose to have the act done outside. The risk of being seen heightens the shame and embarrassment but also the excitement. Most people who have a humiliation fetish choose to do it in their own home because it lets them feel safe and comfortable without having the risk of people finding out about their secret.

Verbal Humiliation:

Verbal humiliation is using certain names, words or phrases to shame someone. The act of verbal humiliation can be done during sex or as a regular part of the couple’s routine as submission training. You can use degrading names like ‘bitch’, ‘slut’, or ‘pussy’, belittlement terms  like ‘boy’, ”pet’, ‘slave’, or physical reference terms like ‘fatty’, ‘ugly’ or words referring to their race. It could also involve being told off for doing something wrong or acting like a child. This shows the submissive that they are seen as being less than the dominant and unworthy of being seen as an equal. It doesn’t always have to be the dominant who is speaking and the submissive can be the one who does it. The submissive may be forced to repeat certain phrases such as saying that they are inferior or asking permission for basic things like going to the bathroom or getting a drink. By using verbal humiliation the submissive feels turned on by letting someone else influence the way they feel.

Physical Humiliation:

Physical humiliation can involve many different acts and the ones used will depend on the person involved.  It could involve dressing up in clothes that they would never wear in real life such as a man being forced to wear panties under his clothes to work or wearing makeup and lingerie at home. For a woman she may be forced to go around the house naked or only in her lingerie to show that she’s nothing but a sex object.

To ease into public play the submissive might wear something outside that only a few people would notice and be unlikely to comment on. An example would be wearing an obviously feminine piece of jewelry or a woman going out in a see-through top while wearing a bra. Gestures may also be used and the submissive would act as a slave to the dominant. They may serve meals, open doors or sexually please the dominant while under strict orders like not making eye contact or being silent.

During sex humiliation may be done by having the submissive only pleasing the dominant while they don’t get a sexual release or the dominant may cum on the submissive’s face or body in order to mark them. By using physical humiliation it makes the submissive actually do something in order to show their inferiority and increases the shame they feel because they’re willing to degrade themselves.
